How to Write About Topics For a Cause and Effect Essay About Economics

How to Write About Topics For a Cause and Effect Essay About EconomicsTopics for a cause and effect essay about economics are very broad and varied. They cover many things like the cause of inflation, the causes of recessions, and the causes of changes in stock prices. One thing to keep in mind is that there is no right or wrong answer as to what it is that you write about. An example would be to take an example from the weather, which has no apparent cause. However, it is referred to by the weatherman. It can be assumed that the causes of the weatherman's predictions were all natural causes. Now, if you took an example from the weather, saying that the sun is the cause of tornadoes, then it could be assumed that you have proven that a cause and effect relationship exists between the sun and tornadoes. However, what you may be better at doing is pointing out why the economic explanation you are drawing upon has been shown to be correct. In this way, you are not totally relying on the n atural explanation. For example, in your article about topics for a cause and effect essay about economics, why was the falling dollar so damaging to the economy? This will help to make the relationship between the economic explanation and the reason for the fall in the dollar easier to understand. While the economic explanation may be right, it could also be wrong. Therefore, you should not rely on it as the reason, but use an alternate explanation. This is best done when the economy and currency go down due to the negative effect of the war in Iraq.As mentioned, the word that best describes a cause and effect relationship is 'causation.' There are many factors that can cause a cause and result in a condition such as inflation. If there is no identifiable cause, then it is called a 'reference' and is typically used in science fiction movies. It is also important to know that the economic explanation you are writing about has a cause. When you write about your topic, try to make sure that the one particular cause is properly identified. If it is difficult to identify a cause, you should still write about the effect because it is there, but explain the cause in a way that makes it more believable. The effects of a condition are what causes inflation. Why does inflation occur? By asking these questions, you will give yourself the chance to come up with the cause and effect relationship.Remember that while a thesis statement or argument is always important, that is not the only thing that you need to show the relationship between the conditions in your topic and the effects on the economy. That is why, when writing about topics for a cause and effect essay about economics, you will want to identify the two most important causes and effects.

Ernest Miller Hemingway Essays (3041 words) - Ernest Hemingway

Ernest Miller Hemingway Ernest Miller Hemingway was born on July 21, 1899, in Oak Park, Illinois. His father was the owner of a prosperous real estate business. His father, Dr. Hemingway, imparted to Ernest the importance of appearances, especially in public. Dr. Hemingway invented surgical forceps for which he would not accept money. He believed that one should not profit from something important for the good of mankind. Ernest's father, a man of high ideals, was very strict and censored the books he allowed his children to read. He forbad Ernest's sister from studying ballet for it was coeducational, and dancing together led to "hell and damnation". Grace Hall Hemingway, Ernest's mother, considered herself pure and proper. She was a dreamer who was upset at anything which disturbed her perception of the world as beautiful. She hated dirty diapers, upset stomachs, and cleaning house; they were not fit for a lady. She taught her children to always act with decorum. She adored the singing of the birds and the smell of flowers. Her children were expected to behave properly and to please her, always. Mrs. Hemingway treated Ernest, when he was a small boy, as if he were a female baby doll and she dressed him accordingly. This arrangement was alright until Ernest got to the age when he wanted to be a "gun-toting Pawnee Bill". He began, at that time, to pull away from his mother, and never forgave her for his humiliation. The town of Oak Park, where Ernest grew up, was very old fashioned and quite religious. The townspeople forbad the word "virgin" from appearing in school books, and the word "breast" was questioned, though it appeared in the Bible. Ernest loved to fish, canoe and explore the woods. When he couldn't get outside, he escaped to his room and read books. He loved to tell stories to his classmates, often insisting that a friend listen to one of his stories. In spite of his mother's desire, he played on the football team at Oak Park High School. As a student, Ernest was a perfectionist about his grammar and studied English with a fervor. He contributed articles to the weekly school newspaper. It seems that the principal did not approve of Ernest's writings and he complained, often, about the content of Ernest's articles. Ernest was clear about his writing; he wanted people to "see and feel" and he wanted to enjoy himself while writing. Ernest loved having fun. If nothing was happening, mischievous Ernest made something happen. He would sometimes use forbidden words just to create a ruckus. Ernest, though wild and crazy, was a warm, caring individual. He loved the sea, mountains and the stars and hated anyone who he saw as a phoney. During World War I, Ernest, rejected from service because of a bad left eye, was an ambulance driver, in Italy, for the Red Cross. Very much like the hero of A Farewell to Arms, Ernest is shot in his knee and recuperates in a hospital, tended by a caring nurse named Agnes. Like Frederick Henry, in the book, he fell in love with the nurse and was given a medal for his heroism. Ernest returned home after the war, rejected by the nurse with whom he fell in love. He would party late into the night and invite, to his house, people his parents disapproved of. Ernest's mother rejected him and he felt that he had to move from home. He moved in with a friend living in Chicago and he wrote articles for The Toronto Star. In Chicago he met and then married Hadley Richardson. She believed that he should spend all his time in writing, and bought him a typewriter for his birthday. They decided that the best place for a writer to live was Paris, where he could devote himself to his writing. He said, at the time, that the most difficult thing to write about was being a man. They could not live on income from his stories and so Ernest, again, wrote for The Toronto Star. Ernest took Hadley to Italy to show her where he had been during the war. He was devastated, everything had changed, everything was destroyed. Hadley

Should the US remain a Nation essays

Should the US remain a Nation essays This issue is clearly polemical, because of the fact that our country was based off immigration, but some take it for granted. Even myself until up recent, found myself favoring a balance of immigration, because I wouldnt be here if that wasnt true. Now a new semblance for my country has changed my mind, because of recent attacks of terrorism attacked upon it. To me, it has shown that we should now control all immigration far better than we have before. Some say that immigration is good, and we should keep it the same, because it supports our economy for new employees, homes, and consumption. This idea of that our economy is better with immigration can be shown to be inadequate, because this can lead to over-population, health concerns, and recession. Our country has had a free-flowing pace of immigrants, since the birth of our country, and it has shown to be good and bad. Many immigrants who came to this country were discriminated against throughout the last century. Many say it is about acceptance or its our rights as Americans to accept all people. On April 20, 1921, there was a meeting among the house of representatives, which states It is time that we act now, because within a few short years the damage will have been done. The endless tide of immigration will have filled our country with a foreign and unsympathetic element. This basically states that if you do not control immigration, then over time we will loose our patriotism and love for the country, because of a domination of immigrants. I chose this issue, because not that it was one of the last ones on the paper, but that it is important issue that our country faces everyday. Immigration is important to this country, but it needs to be more restricted and thought through. I believe that our nation of immigrants should be restricted by certain countries or numbers, but not to...

Human Patterns of Consumption and the Environment Essay

Human Patterns of Consumption and the Environment - Essay Example Human Patterns of Consumption and the Environment As time went by, and environmental problems ensued, people could no longer just give a blind eye. As Emerald (2004) said â€Å"the effects of all of this are that individuals are caught in a cycle of acquisition, leading to the creation and maintenance of a false - self, and a continuance of economic policies that further depletion of our natural resources and the spread of pollution, and ultimately, an erosion of our spiritual connections with nature† (p.22). It has come to the attention of many environmentalist groups that many of the natural disasters occurring this age could have been avoided if it were not for the unrestrained nature of human patterns of consumption. Human consumption has many factors that are to be considered with regards to its effects with nature. Perhaps the most pivotal among these factors is the development of human system of economics. The human spirit is one of continuing enterprise, and this could be viewed in how human economies developed to globalization and consumerism. As the world got more connected, the culture of commercialization and consumerism spread throughout the world. Imhoff, Bounoua, Ricketts, Loucks, Harriss and Lawrence (2004) indicated that â€Å"human populations clearly are not limited to consuming the products of local photosynthesis since regional and global trade transports these products widely, such that the environmental impacts of human consumption are partly realized far from where products are actually consumed†.... There is always the demand to satisfy more wants and needs as the world is more interconnected than before. This is being done with little regard to its negative effects towards nature. Muradian (2004) observed: The very nature of environmental impacts may vary from industrialized (most of them located in temperate areas) to developing countries (many of them located in tropical and biodiversity-rich areas). For instance, while soybean may be cultivated both in Brazil and the U.S., the environmental consequences of soybean expansion are quite different in these countries. Current trade-related soybean expansion into the Brazilian Amazon (in part to cover a booming Chinese demand) may produce permanent and significant biodiversity loss, while the environmental impacts of American soybean production is mainly associated with the use of agrochemicals (p.6). As industrialization and commercialization develops and progresses to satisfy human consumption, so does the increase of human popu lation and habitation are to be expected. The unchecked expansion of urbanized zones also has negative effects towards the environment. Stein (2009) posited that â€Å"increasing home sizes as well as increases in the amount of appliances and IT products being used mean more coal-fired power plant construction and higher levels of greenhouse gas emissions while the increase in landfills and biomass burning from growing disposal of goods has increased CH4 emissions (p.47). These resulted to sudden climate changes around the world and also due the effects of global warming. Nordhaus (2007) wrote that â€Å"the discoveries about abrupt climate change have led to concerns that there may be grave or even catastrophic
